Grey and damp here. The wind has not stopped howling all night :-(

Big watermain burst over the weekend in London, homes flooded out. Thankfully nowhere near us. Those poor people, their homes underwater. Bad at anytime, worse just before Christmas.

T'was dull and damp, but it is trying to brighten.

Think the wild wind has blown the boiler pilot out :-|

Daughter is more agile than me to get to the right place in the garage to relight it.

In the mean time I am snug in my fleecy hoody and grateful that the weather is milder this week.

Not at all busy in M & S or Aldi this morning.

Got back to a coughing, spluttering, sore throated and headachy OH. I’d left him in bed but he was sitting in the family room. Told him to get back to bed before he passed it on for Christmas, said I’d make a hot chocolate for him - to no avail. If he ain’t careful we’ll all catch it in time for Christmas says I.

I don’t think he appreciated my sentiments. :-0

Well truth be told I did something daft yesterday, instead of asking for help, I thought I could lift something on my own..........well I did.........and put my back out!

Am creeping around holding onto furniture. :-( :-(

Thank goodness I got my shopping a bit at a time, and only have foil and flour left to buy!
