Another noisy night then :-|

We had heavy rain late yesterday before midnight, but still no sign of the forecast thunderstorms :-S
I hope they stay away.
It was an absolutely beautiful morning earlier today and very still. It is not quite so now, so perhaps it's building up to something noisier.

Alice rang last night while I was on here…..her poor friend had to be taken home from school….throwing up everywhere because she was so nervous

I do hope she has managed to return today…such a lovely girl and quite confident..you just don’t know how it affects some children leaving their Primary Schools :-(

do any of you remember me saying about a woman on Ancestry private messaging me re my dad on my tree. She said my dad was her grandad duhhhhhhhh

. She lives in Rhodes and she came here to see her mum and we met up. Turned out I have a framed photo here of my mum, dad my son aged 5 and her as a little one.

I knew her mum as my auntie when I was growing up but it turned out she was my half sister in law'
Anyway her mum died last year during covid and is holding a tribute in her memory on Saturday at The Pavillion at Bristol Zoo and I have been invited. :-D

she says there will be family there from Greece , Spain and wait for it Birmingham

did my dad have a bike back then LOL :-D :-D :-D :-D

All the animals were moved to another part of Bristol last week so I won't be able to have a ride on Wendy the heffalump like I did over 70 years ago '
