Our beloved sweet mother, Eileen Sharp, died on Monday 25th of July 2022. She quietly drifted away in her sleep....just how she hoped she would leave this life when she was ready.
We are overwhelmed with sadness and grief, but also pleased that mommy's battles with illnesses are over. No more pain....just peace and freedom.
Mommy will be cremated July 30th at 1pm.
In good time we (her children), will take her back to Ireland where we will scatter her ashes at the Burren.

Many of us will have fond memories of Eileen in Holland, please add them to give a little comfort to her family at this sad time.

Rest in peace, Eileen. A life well lived, you will be loved and remembered always

Not sure I came across Eileen on the Boards either, what was her board name?

Belle I think it was either Eleanor of Claddagh or Eileen in Holland but there may have been another one. she was on here way way back.

Aw so sorry to hear this. I do seem to remember a lady on here from Holland a long time ago, cant remember her board name though.

We had several from Holland in the early days (although not Dutch we had Joyce and Sylvia both married to Dutch men as well as Eileen.

I am pretty sure Eileen used the board name Claddagh.

Coincidentally, Eileen passed away on Joyce’s (Dutch) birthday which is also my birthday so I will always remember them especially, on that day

The verse they have chosen is the one I added here years ago Remember Me.

Bless her, Eileen was such a kind lady, Even sent a postcard when my daughter was in hospital, though she had never met her. So caring, Eileen will be missed.

I do my best to stay in touch with people but life’s a struggle and I just do what I can.
