We had a lovely family party on Saturday. Barbecue and salads followed by all our

favourite puddings. Last time we were all together was 5yrs ago. We welcomed the

latest twiglet. She is adorable <3

It’s our Town Jubilee tomorrow, lots of walkers from different churches…I hope it is not going to be this hot for them….all schools closed here for the event so the Darlinks will be happy :-D :-D

Beautiful weather again here. All back doors open.

I am on the mend, thank you, Von. Barely coughing, barely wiping (redness disappearing from under nose) but still a thick catarrh-like throat and no taste or smell back yet. Energy back so onward and upward. :-D

K still has five pairs of hiking boots in the garage, Ann, from his fell-walking and climbing days. You’re welcome to any of them so dig out your shorts and backpack. :-D ;-)

The annual gala here was on Saturday. Thousands there so I expect covid cases will rise a lot. :-(

Tis 29 degrees according to my thermometer which I may add is in the shade :-0 :-0

Glad you are feeling a bit better, I could not taste or smell for about 2 weeks, however the thought of food made me want to throw up! :-D :-D

Currently 32 in the shade and 39 in the brown house :-0 :-0 :-0

We do have a breeze though and we are very lucky because our house is cool. Back

is in shade in morning and front in afternoon.

Went out this morning for a couple of bits and bobs, and was in the sun for about 10 mins.

A little pink now and slathered on the aftersun lotion. I reckon there will be a few burnt bodies tonights. :-( :-(
