Another glorious day here but rain is forecast for the weekend. :-(

Just booked another couple of cricket dates, one at Manchester - staying at the same place that we did before lockdown so we are all looking forward to July.

Back now from my fish and chips lunch. It was good too .
I only order a child's portion as they are very generous there ;-)

It's a shingle beach at that point Joy.
The cafe is housed in what once was the lifeboat station, so near the fishing boats and the 'working' part of The Channel coast.

A bit hazy today, so we couldn't see France, but the sky was blue, it was warm and it stayed dry!

Gawd the heat is awful here, been up the pub which is located quite high up…trying to catch a breeze :-0 :-0

The Darlinks will be here later with cake for their grandad :-D :-D :-D

Well today didn’t work out as planned but all is well now. :-D

OH had problems with one of his eyes which necessitated a trip on the underground

to sunny London Town to A&E at the eye hospital :-0 :-0 :-0

Haven’t been on underground since beginning of covid. But we got there and back

safely. He still has the problem but doesn’t need urgent attention.

Von, if you are attending Moorfields Eye Hospital, are you aware they will be locating to Kings Cross? Not sure when, but it is in the pipeline. New premises on the regeneration site behind Kings Cross station.
