Trying to plan what to do when this week here.
We are predicted 27 degrees by Friday, so I need to sort the more active jobs earlier in the week.
I don't 'do' heat so well these days :-0

We are having very strong winds with 26 C at the moment. The strong winds started yesterday and the arch over the garden gate looks like it's listing. :-0


We were told late last night they would be coming sometime this afternoon. The wind might put them off as the 2 girls were going to go in the sea over here, the sea at Paphos has areas of dangerous currents.

Doesn’t look too promising here and it’s only 16 degs out there.

K has suggested a trip to our local open-air museum but he hasn’t put a foot outside yet, he hasn’t been for years, doesn’t know the current entry cost, nor does he know that entry requirements have changed - if you want to turn up before 1 pm you have to book ahead. But hey ho, if he’s still pining for times gone by, I’ll book for a morning later this week when our weather, too, is expected to be warmer.

It means that cricketing may be on the cards again today. :-D

It’s festival week in our village and people are making scarecrows and putting them in

the garden. :-D We have a lot of children passing the house so thought we would join in.

I went to see scarecrows made for a village festival near here recently.
They had a theme of Jubilee.
Do you have a theme or is it open choice?

Bet the passing children will love seeing your efforts. :-D

Just wasted 3 hours of me life trudging around Sparkles for something to wear, unless you are intending to audition for LittleHouse on the Prarie or the Waltons I would not bother…frills frills and more frills :-| :-0 :-0

I did however find a nice pair of casual trousers but they did not have my size, so they ordered them in to my local Sparkles for tomorrow…fingers crossed they fit
