Just can’t get my dates balanced. Apart from still thinking yesterday was Tuesday and today is Wednesday (Fly syndrome :-D ), I put in a grocery order for items for this weekend thinking it was Bank Holiday only to discover it’s been cancelled or amalgamated with the Jubilee weekend beginning 2 June. :-S

I can't understand why the long Jubilee weekend is Thursday to Sunday and not Friday to Monday :-S

Another unsettled day here, rain sun then more rain

Trying to at least get some of the washing dry today…sick of seeing it sitting in the utility :-0

Alice arrived this morning in the shortest pair of shorts ever, we have PE today Nannie, well where is your uniform to change back in to I says…..Oh we don’t bother changing will wear these all day :-0

I hope she has a longish coat to walk home in :-0 :-0

Bright and breezy here and dry so far, but possibility of showers in the mix sometime.

An afternoon yesterday of dipping into a tin of bits and pieces from in-law's house.
Mostly I was looking to trim down envelopes, where m-in-l had saved used stamps to give to charity.
Found old stamp books in there too with odd unused stamps and a Singapore Driving Licence for 1960s :-S

Even found a front of envelope to their address from 1920s....No idea where that came from, as they were small children themselves then and it was not a house linked to family.

I wouldn’t worry Joy. I don’t think the weather knows which month it is. ;-)

I went to B&Q today to buy some bedding plants and they were playing pop music

over the tannoy. Everybody in the dept buying plants was singing :-D :-D :-D
