Ralphie and I were out walking the streets before 6am this morning when the winds were supposedly lighter :-0. The problem is that taking him out that early he forgets his been walkies and keeps looking at me now as if to say when are we going out :-S

I don't think it's now going to be as gusty for as long as they originally thought, thank goodness as I'm getting feed up with this weather now :-| :-D :-D

I don't like flying at the best of times :-0

The sun is out here and it's very windy but not so bad as it has been so I have been able to hang my washing out. Just have to keep an eye out in case the rain decides to come.

We are still on a weather warning until early afternoon.

A recycling box has just bowled along the road.
No idea where that came from, as it's not Bin Day, so it's just been 'lifted' from somewhere :-S

I saw that some in your neck of the woods had lost power on Friday together with some in Essex and Kent :-0. It's when you haven't got power you realise how reliant we all are on electricity :-0

Why is it that Driving instructors tell their pupils to park across someone's drive :-S :-| ;-) :-D

No power losses for us...so far, but I did wonder yesterday evening, when the lights kept flickering.... Wound up my torch, in case.

A long powercut just a mile or so from here. No gas available there, so a tough few hours for them

Update on flag, Belle. Not much left now !
No vertical red stripe left at all, that's gone in these last couple of days.
Next to flagpole, the bottom white rectangle has half gone now and the wind is 'gnawing' into corner of the top section
............and it's still blowing furiously :-0
