Just back from my eye test.... need a new prescription because my reading isn't as good :-(. On the plus side my cataract hasn't worsened :-D

This morning was lovely here but now the clouds have arrived and the temperature has dropped and the wind is getting up.

My son talked me into ordering a waterproof and windproof jacket which is more for practicality rather than to look good. It has just arrived. I must admit it is very well made (although expensive) and will be great if the bad weather from America comes over here as it usually does. The only problem is - I very rarely go out at any time unless I have to, much less in bad weather :-S

Belle, good news about your cataract. My last eye test was the same as yours - new reading glasses but at least my cataracts were no worse.

Plenty of bats over Hampstead Heath, also a few kestrels. Obviously not at the same time.
