It's a lazy day here - one of those days when I might catch up on telly.

One of my Oz pals says that Melbourne Hospital Medics have pleaded with the public to stay at home as their hospitals, particularly in West Melbourne, are being overwhelmed by covid patients. I haven't looked so I am not sure what the rules are there but they obviously have a Boris at the helm and not a Nicola! :-S

Dullish and dry here, but I'm going out for a walk to see if I can see any spring bulbs in flower.

We have about a dozen white camellias on one of our bushes. This year they have stayed white and have been blooming for several days whereas usually they brown within a day or two then fall. Down to the clement weather conditions, I think.

At the moment the temp has reached double figures and the sun is out. :-D

Hi, not a bad day for us, calm & the sun is shining, it did rain a little earlier this morning but nothing much really.

I'm not doing anything much today, nothing to do really, the house was cleaned etc for Christmas & New Year so don't need to any housework for a day or two yet!

Gwyn.... I was walking round our garden yesterday & noticed our Daffies & some Snowdrops just peeping through, but no doubt they will get a battering when they are ready to bloom, they usually either suffer from high winds or a fall of snow weighing them down!

Mostly pink, if I remember from previous bloomings.

One clump of narcissus had full papery buds last time I looked.... can't remember the correct term for that :-S

I haven't noticed any daffs starting here yet - but will take a look.

Gwyn, our pink camellia blooms in spring/early summer but we are in the north; you may be lucky where you are.

I’ve been in the garden trying to clear some soil that was put in the wrong place :-| :-| :-

My daffodils are out| :-D :-D :-D We’ve had them out as early as 1 December some

years so they are late this year but very welcome :-D

I've been catching up on washing today and I'm hoping that it at least dries a little bit before the predicted rain comes!
