My cousin has sent out an email as she helps with dog rescues.

Check your fences before letting your dogs out as some fences are down and dogs are escaping.

Daughter has just shown me pictures of the nearby motorway and other parts of Kent, where they've had a dusting of snow.

Just lots of heavy rain around us though.

Had a very windy night food waste bin in next door’s garden, bird feeder taken apart food tube across the road the rest still hanging in the tree.

What a night! Lots of damage in our town….roofs blown off,chimneys and trees down in several places!

Poor V has had her fence panels blown taking the brick pillars as well! OH is round there now helping to sort things out with G, he had to set off down the M6 this morning at 5am for work :-0 :-0

The winds are still strong here…..Jewson is behind us and parts of their roof is missing, never heard wind like it :-0 :-0

It was really bad here during the night. Our only damage was to the plastic play house which wen5 walkabout in the middle of the night.
I walked into the market square this morning and there was a lot of damage. The Co-op and Thomas the bakers had all their shop signage ripped off. Next to them is Holland and Barrett, there were some workmen up ladders desperately trying to stop the front of tha5 shop coming off as well
