Cat decided to have the night out last night

Well at least no sign of him when I checked at 11.30pm because I was wanting my bed

Was a wet boy sitting patiently at the back door this morning at 7.30

He wasn’t too bothered though ,it was more and where’s my breakfast ?

Another very soggy walkies...what started as a few drops turned into very heavy rain :-D

At least me new waterproof jacket worked :-D. Shame I didn't put me waterproof trousers on though :-(

I too got caught in that torrential downpour. My jacket IS waterproof, but the water runs down and straight onto my jeans. So I ended up with very wet legs! :-D

I bought some gluten-free sausages with black pudding from Sainsburys as I like black pud but they tasted yuk so OH polished off mine along with his. :-S

Sunny and breezy here at the moment although it was dark and raining a couple of hours ago.

Son and daughter-in-law arrived unexpectedly at lunchtime (first time here in a couple of years). They were on their way up to Consett to a rugby match that my grandson was playing in (they'll probably be passing your way Joy :-)).

While they were here there was what sounded like an enormous explosion outside and then lots of smoke from the side of our garage. We all thought it was either the gas boiler blowing up in the garage or a car had run into the wall at the side of the house (which has happened before!). We all rushed outside but seems it must have just been a very loud firework that some kids had thrown The smoke was still there but we couldn't find any sign of the firework but a couple of kids were running up the road. It really did give us all quite a fright.
