It was sad to see Tilly go, but maybe it was time.

Dan in the semi's? Why are the judges suddenly so fullsome in their praise for him?

If someone good gets knocked out next week it would be a travesty.

I have seen Rose hold her tummy before, maybe it is a comfort thing.

I really didn't get the scoring for Dan and thought he was over marked.
It was the right result I think between Rhys and Tilly and I think if Dan had been in the dance off the judges would have saved him. Except Craig maybe.

I dare say it will be another evening of grinding my teeth. ;-)

Well that was literally thrills and spills tonight.

John and Johannes were great until right at the end when John dropped Johannes. Mine you they are two big fellahs. But they cannot afford mistakes like that. Shame.

Rose danced beautifully, graceful and elegant. That 'leap of faith' was spectacular.

Rhys certainly upped his game, and his Argentine tango was sharp and very intense. I thought that was his best dance to date.

Dan did his tango, but in comparison to Rhys it was a different dance altogether.

Then poor AJ got her legs tangled at the end of her Samba. A pity because it was very good up until then. She is very loose limbed and it was energetic.

So...............in the dance off? Maybe AJ and Dan. With Dan to go.

Loved Rose and Thyse was good tonight. Yes I think Dan and AJ could be in the dance off. Depends on Dan’s public though.

Another good week, Rose, Rhys and John were the best for me and agree that AJ and Dan being in the dance off with Dan to go would be the way to go but I have a feeling that Dan may be safe again .

Only seen John, Rhys and Rose so far:-0. Will take a look at Dan and AJ later :-D

The Argentine Tango was definitely Rhys dance..his lifts were great :-D

Rose's American Smooth was lovely and that move at the end was just something else :-0 :-0

Thought John could have wiggled his hips a bit more ;-) But that lift at the end let them down big time :-(

Until I've see Dan & AJ can't say who I think will be in the dance off but it sounds like it should be them :-0

Well Dan has gone.

Now we have four dancers who seem to be of equal standard, so it should be interesting in the next couple of weeks.

2 dances to be learned for next week, so the pace is hotting up.

Good result tonight although I did think Dan danced well in the da ce off but AJ got the lift right and was better she had to go through.

Yes the right result tonight , looking forward now to the semi final and the final. Don't really mind who wins as they are all so good although my favourites are Rose and John. :-)

At last and your prediction was right MTG! He did dance his best this time as was said, but the limp way he moved his hand behind his back was beginning to irritate. It will be tough next week as they are all so good now, but the dances they get might help decide it.

I agree, Dan was the right choice....although I'll give credit were it is due, Dan has improved tremendously over the weeks but, that said, it was his turn this time :-)

Looking forward to next week, one of Rose's dances is the Argentine Tango. Not only is it a very technical dance but it is danced to the mood of the music, how Rose will cope with it being deaf remains to be seen; no doubt she will wow us as she has with her other dances, I hope so :-D

For me the best two couples were Rose & Giovanni and AJ & Kai :-D. I loved Rose's Argentine Tango which was very intense, sensual and passionate :-0 :-D. AJ's Quickstep was just soooo quick and I do love it when they dress the part too :-D

So that leaves John & Rhys :-0. I thought the story behind John's Couples Choice was great but I did find it a bit ragged in places :-0. Their best dance for me was The Jive, not an easy dance for someone as muscular as John but he did it justice :-D. Out of Rhys' two dances I preferred The Tango when he is more in control, with his Samba his arms and legs just seemed to have a mind of their own :-0

So for me it should be John & Rhys in the Dance Off with, sadly, Rhys to go :-(

However, we mustn't forget that they still haven't made any adjustment for Robert Webb's early exit.....in the 202O Final there was Bill, HRVY, Maisie and Jamie :-0. So perhaps all four this year will go through to The Final too :-D :-D. After all the hard work the couple's have put into the show, all four couples going through to The Final would be the right choice rather than one couple being pipped at the post :-0 :-D

To be honest I felt very good watching last night's show. All 4 couples deserved to be in it. As I was watching it, I said I didnt mind who won the Glitterball.

I agree Rose and Giovanni was a knock out with both dances. Rose does get emotional and rightly so, she has achieved so much.

John and Johannes, I appreciate the story behind the Couples Choice, but as Belle said, it seemed a bit ragged.

Rhys did well in both his dances I thought. His energy sometimes get the better of him though.

AJ. what a gal. She looked beautiful in her ballgown, a touch of Ginger Rogers.

So, maybe John in the dance off, but I dont know who against.

I was commenting last night, that two couples had to drop out, so maybe all four will go through to next week.

gosh that is a difficult choice, all four danced well and I think it comes down to personal choice of the public more than ever as the judges, for once were almost exactly in agreement.
My favourites were AJ and Rose, both have become beautiful dancers and the two couples are each magical together, both professionals very strong. I did see a comment of facebook copied from a comment by Brendan on how excellent a professional dancer Kai is and, of course giovanni is as well. Loved Rose's Argentine Tango and AJ's Quickstep. and don't both girls have lovely long legs.
John's Jive was good but there is something about them that doesn't 'gel' with me, maybe too 'over the top' Rhys's tango I liked but not so keen on his jive.

For me I agree with Belle on the dance off but we have to remember they all have their followers and some are not looking at the dance but the person. I imagine John has a huge personal following across the UK.

I love all four dancers but I really would like Rose or John to win. Both performed so well and I loved all four dances but although really good I am not so keen on Rhys or AJ's dances. I think perhaps it may be Rhys and AJ in the dance off and Rhys will go. They have all done so well this year they all deserve a glitter ball .

Rose and John for me too JustGinnie. Rose's dances were exquisite and characterful and I think her Argentine Tango was one of the best I've seen. She has expression in every slight movement. John mirrors Johannes so well and his timing is always spot on and their routines are so different. I thought I saw a 'pigeon toe' once with AJ. She is very good, but I wish she didn't shout so. I wasn't as impressed as the judges with Rhys this week. All four are at a very high standard this year though and it is close.

Still, it is the public that decide who they want to go through, not the dancing.

I think the right couple left and I thought that the Samba was the wrong choice but Rhys did himself proud. To me John and Johannes up their game even more so deserved to go through.

I thought that if one had to go, Rhys was the right choice :-( I know the Samba is a dance full of energy but Rhys was just too exuberant....I agree JG, I too think he choose the wrong dance:-0

So, onto The Final...three dances......who will raise The Glitterball :-D

So difficult when they are all so good. Public's choice now though so it does unfortunately become a popularity contest, unless any of them make a drastic mistake on the night. But what a great year this has been for dancers so many who really did well even if voted out earlier in the series so well done to all of them.
