Here In Oz, we are not badly affected by the 'lurgy', but yesterday (11th) we received a Christmas card which had been posted within Australia on 19th December and that was according to the postmark. |

Didn’t there use to be a theory that if you sent your Christmas cards out early they would get stuck under the bulk of later postings. Or was that just me? |

Just over a week ago we had a card posted 1 Dec 20. Yesterday we had a card posted some time in December. Friends (local)sent me a card for birthday 29 Dec still not rec'd |

That's what happened here namelessone, a small royal mail van came and the postie delivered from there that was early last week. Doubt whether we will get another delivery until next week at the earliest :-( |
