I knitted them, and still do, because the action of knitting is quite soothing and I don't need to think about it as it is all garter stitch. You don't even have to get your mouth right to do it. |

Goodness, I remember my grandmother teaching me how to knit dishcloths. Not that I am inferring that you are as old as my grandmother Sharon, well not unless you are 122. |

One of the joys of owning one of my traditional dishcloths is that they can be boiled and bleached to infinity and, when they do finally wear right out, you can put them on the compost heap to rot away and go back to the soil. |

I'm sure my dishcloth was not that colour when I bought it sometime during the last millennium. |

Aww Sharron, sorry to hear you experienced something that made you need Prozac and you "lost the plot" and hopefully you feel better now. Guess there's a lot to be said for knitting dishcloths if it made you feel better. My best wishes to you. |

Sharron, I've never known anyone who knits dishcloths. This might be an obvious question, but what do you knit them with? Guess there must be some sort of special yarn to use. I've never seen any in shops so guess you must purchase it on the internet. (Unless we have really useless shops in town). |
