I don't like sprouts because they are so bitter and I know why thanks to a radio programme. An enzyme in your stomach breaks down the sprouts but some people have the enzyme in their saliva so the process starts too early and the bitter taste is due to that. |

I eat lots of veg and salad as they are low carb. Can't eat peas they are full of carbs and carrots have quite a bit of carbs being root veg. |
