Fortunately I had nothing in my hands when I heard a news reporter on the national news last night describe a situation as 'fairly unique' :-| |

My husband also complains quite loudly about that Allan, I just groan inwardly when I hear it. |

Just been shopping for the first time since early March and saw a sign in a shop ( beautifully laid out and printed ) saying that they respectively ask us to wear masks and keep apart. I was tempted to say thank you respectfully! |

I agree Allan and so does OH. We both cringe when people say unique with a qualifying adverb. Take your choice - quite, fairly, very, etc. etc. |

Perhaps I have been watching a tad more telly lately but I can see I'm not the only one who has found more howlers than usual. |

Fanos fans are going to be a boon to television manufacturers and dealers. I bet they're rubbing their hands in glee. :-D |

My local deli, had a sign in the window advertising for a “ part time person”. It didn’t stipulate what they had to be the rest of the time - werewolf, vampire? Who knows! |
