Many years ago one of the sons of the couple across the road developed the habit of running along behind cars as they went down the Close. |

Yet more snowballs again today so this time stepdad has got involved and taken away his mobile phone and games console for the day. Lewis will get them back tomorrow hopefully with an attitude adjustment. |

We used to have trouble with a group of boys who were constantly ringing our doorbell. Messages to one of the mothers via a colleague of OH. |

Lewis is at it again despite the fact that it’s -2 with an east wind making it feel several degrees colder than that. Lewis is firing snowballs at our kitchen window and front door. If it wasn’t our kitchen window I’d be impressed as our window is at the back of the property and as it’s a flat it’s on the first floor. We’ve had another word with mum but I think someone needs to go back to school. |

I don’t how many siblings have lived there but the house has two bedrooms upstairs, kitchen, living room and a couple of bathrooms so it would be tight with more than a couple of children in it. |

I don’t know how long mum has been with her partner but we’ve been here three years and he was there when we moved in. When we were discussing the hedge that separates the property (as we want to take it out and put in a fence) Annie said they’d paid for the removal of the first part of the hedge when Lewis was five and it was his dad there then. |

Sounds like hes wanting attention. How long has the new partner been with his mum? If he is the only child at home now and she has a new partner, then maybe he feels left out. |

Personally, I'd 'have a word' with Lewis - at 12 he should know better! |

Sadly not yet. We’ve lived here 3 years and this is the first year we’ve had him really testing things. It could be hormones but at 12 I would never have sworn at my mother or fired things at the neighbours. |

Has your mentioning his socially unacceptable behaviour to his mum put a stop to it? |

Mr Owl has always preferred younger woman. We met online when I was 31 and he was 33. I said my preferred age was 32-45 and his was 25-32. |

Mr Owl is 37 and I’m 35 until next week. We mentioned to mum that he was firing at the workmen and she said she’d have a word. A water pistol of our own isn’t a bad idea as long as mum consents. Mr Owl and I are not bothered if we get wet as Mr Owl has four children between the ages of 5 and 10 years old and I’ve had brownies for 20 years. I think he is bored there is a grand total of seven other siblings but none of them live there. Mums partner is his stepdad. |
