Through DNA, I've traced my dad's mum's family back to 1280 and before, and can honestly claim to be 50% Cornish - that is until you get back a wee bit further (I've tentatively gone back to 1180) and realise there are a few Normans! |

I haven't met anyone in person, but I did make contact some years ago with a young woman who had put up a tree on here that had to be my father's siblings, except that all the dates were way out of whack. |
