Nope. I have same problem with my neighbour. His girlfriend has come for the weekend. Travelled miles to get here.
If people keep doing this we will never get out of lockdown

Well, just keep away from them.

You must report them. It's neither fair or safe for others - not to mention the NHS having easily avoidable cases to deal with.

Report them Barbara as they are putting people at risk. My daughter is a health worker and risks her life every because of morons like them :-|

The Neighbours Daughter lives with her boyfriend away from home the daughter has a dog she came to her Mums Sunday went in left the dog Mum walked it down the Avenue last night will definitely report them it's really not on every one else are okay .Thanks

Don't you just detest people who are so arrogant that they think the rules don't apply to them.

I would have written 'so idiotic' but I know someone who is supposed to be intelligent and who held an extremely responsible post who is not going to be told what to do; he knows what is best for him and, sadly, his family. Unfortunately a couple of them don't have the gumption to speak against him.

Arrogant control freak describes him best - and he with a heart condition!

I am afraid I have argued with him, pointing out that every item that comes in a household carries a risk with it and a visit from or to another household risks spreading a virus. In addition, a younger person shopping for one household also brings an increased risk to that or any other household visited or visitor. He thinks that the risk is negligible but I think the risk is avoidable.

I have asked him why he would take such a risk and why he would not err on the side of caution. He would be absolutely mortified if he were caught.

Arrogance, like stupidity, knows no bounds.

But the big problem here is how do you report a whole village.

They all know they are supposed to be isolating but the kids are out riding their bikes.

what IS isolation?

suppose 1 person standing in a 20 acre field or one person on a small island?

do you HAVE to be penned up to be isolated?

I take it as staying within the boundaries of your property, remembering to keep away from any shared garden fence.

My OH and I are in isolation. We began by self-isolating - keeping away from each other and staying in separate areas of our home - for two weeks as OH is vulnerable as well as being over-70 and I had a cold, loss of sense and taste etc. a couple of days into the period so was advised by the doc to play it safe.

So far we've found plenty to keep us occupied.l

Lockdown allows you out for essential shopping, prescriptions and exercise as long as you keep a two-metre distance from others outside of your household.

Has anyone got different interpretations of the terms?

I wouldn’t hesitate for a millisecond to report them to me it’s like attempted murder, bit dramatic maybe but these people need the wake up call.

The Mother is very nosey arrogant I have phoned local police station they will come round random check talk to Neighbours but not single them out but we will be told no visitors due to lock down if it happens again we get van reg no report it ..we are using two bedrooms different towels pots we use our own cutlery as oh has Emphysema has a puffer to use he is vulnerable I have type two diabetes .having scrips delivered local shops delivering & a friend helping us so we are fine & staying put Please stay safe All Take Care Barbara :-)

Here we take isolation to be staying at home (aka "stay home") but able to go out to shop,to the local coffee shop for take-out coffee, to pick-up meals from restaurants doing that service, walk in the neighbourhood or sit in the local park as long as we maintain social distancing from all except people who live in the same house.

Quarantine or declared/official 2 week isolation is when you do not leave your own property.

I self-isolated for almost 3 weeks, didn't go out at all, because I had a bad headache all one night right at the start of our "stay home" period. OH just isolated, went out to do all the shopping, for walks, etc.

Since last Monday, I have gone out about 5 times, OH has driven me down to the coffee shop, he's bought coffee in take-out cups then tipped the contents into our own travel mugs. He's drive to a very small neighbourhood park that has a large grassy area with 5 benches very well spaced around the edges of it. We've sat in the sun for about 20-30 minutes enjoying our coffee, and having little chats with people walking past ........... all very carefully keeping further than the "social distance" away.

I'm social distancing when walking the dog not even letting the dog be touched by anyone just in case (I know it's not likely to happen but why take the chance). I haven't been shopping more than a couple of times in the last month, OH has been more but wearing an N95 mask. On the dog walks I've seen people visiting and going into homes...I've seen parties these are well educated people but obviously they don't think it'll affect them..then it dawned on me they were not affected as they're still working albeit from home. Hit them in the wallet maybe then they'd change. I never phoned them in as I know some neighbours did.

Tonight closing curtains Neighbour has visitors in a car & anther has had friend pick her up outside her house I am getting fed up don't they know how dangerous this virus is been really upset tonight wish I could b----dy move ??

Just take note of car reg numbers and times and report them Barbara. We are ok around here as far as I know everyone is abiding by the rules.

Done that tonight LG I am just fed up with them it's quiet round here culdesac .so no through traffic must think nobody will see them .majority of neighbours are just not going out you always get some that flaunt the law
