Sometimes I wonder why they do the tests.
If they don't want a relationship with close DNA matches that's fine. But you'd think they'd want to find out about the Family History or why have they done it?

Unless they just want to find out what ethnic origin they have.

I've been trying to do some FH. Sorting out documents and saving them to a flashdrive.

I want to redo all my texts re my Mother's family as I know a lot more now than I did when I wrote it some years ago.

I had a new DNA match recently. It turned out to be the Granddaughter of my Grandfather's (mother's Father) brother.
I only a few months ago found out what happened to him.
I've written to her, but no reply as yet
