Morning Florence if you are looking in hope you are improving every day x lovely day here again no sign of rain .not many people about one or two walking passed our back garden there's a path you can get to forest there's a wall & fence about 12ft high at the end of garden just see folks heads & shoulders who are passing our westie Meatloaf can see them x stay safe best wishes Barbara xx

Well folks...its me im back;-))
Firstly thankyou to Sue for being my messenger.A splendid job keeping everyone informed.
And to all the loveoly people on here who send me well wishes and kind words, You kept me smiling even though I had some teary days.

Yesterday I was having a rotten day, the painkillers upset my stomach and made me sick. I felt like a zombie.So no more of those.
Today I showered and dressed and have managed a wee walk around the garden as its a lovely sunny day.
So good to get some fresh air into my lungs.

My concentration isn't too great yet and I misstype a lot.Cant seem to read or settle for long at anything but it will pass.

hard to believe it was 2 weeks ago today aroubd this time I was just coming out of theatre! All went to plan althouygh I was given 2 pints of blood so can no longer be a blood donor but I gave 26 pints before so ive helped a few people.

Due to circumstances, I have noone coming to see me from district nursing! My gp rang me to see if I needed anything and how I was but was reoluctant to come and see me unless very urgent.
I have to wear the very sexy "white stockings" for another 4 weeks....sooo tight I hate them.

So looking forward now to the 6 weeks when I should feel a bit morer energetic and be able to bend and lift a kettle.

My scar is healing although its long.From under my throat down to my tummy button..No bikini this year me thinks..lol

So that's me up to date with everyone. My plants are doing well but I shall comment on those on another thread

Brilliant that you ate back home Florence. Everyday will see you just that bit stronger and you will soon be better than before your op. I assume that was the general idea!

So pleased for you that your operation is over and I hope that you begin to make a good recovery now. One day at a time, so try to be patient and get all the rest that you need to heal and get well soon XXX

Afternoon peeps
Well its been a beautiful day up here sunny and quite warm. So managed to sit outside awhile and walk around the garden.

Allan...a wee dram? lol believe me once im of all these bloomimg pills, I think a bottle of cider has my name on it :-D :-D
My daughter has truly been an Angel.She kept all the family, my friends and works people plus sue on here all up to date.The house was spotless when I arrived home.
We hugged and had a few tears but all is okay now.
But I get tired very quickly and stll am breathless too so I know my limits.

Tonight I hope to be able to sleep in my bed as its been a problem nd I have been nodding on the sofa but not quality sleep. I need to sit upright as any leaning back makes me very short of breath.

So we will sort out he pillows later and hopefully ill get some decent sleep tonight.

Enjoy your 1st weekend back home.
Good to hear that it's been warm enough to go into the garden to enjoy the sunshine.
You are bound to be tired after your operation and the logistics of travelling etc. so take it gently.
I hope you've had a good night's rest, so that each day will bring an improvement to your health.
