Morning feels like minus 20 right now which is warm compared to lots of Canada...mind you the sun isn't up yet maybe it'll get a tad warmer then....it must be cold even the dog didn't want to walk for long :-)

Dtr back tonight. Gndson 2 (the young un) is not a morning person but is never grumpy .... not with us, anyway! :-D

Thanks Emma...just back from a longer walk/poo break...fast for her and she had her coat on no questions asked :-D...I'm the one with cold hands I can not tie those poo bags closed with gloves on :-(

Meant to warm up but snow by tonight maybe as much as 15-20 cms time it finishes tomorrow so could be worse.

Caroline used to love the snow but that was decades ago.
Can't handle the cold these days but we have not had as much
snow as when I was a young un.

Had to take another long walk...someone is using a chain saw and dog not happy been barking forever!! She's started up again getting a headache but at least it's sunny. :-) Ann I'd love silence right now golden or otherwise.

OH went to let dtr's dog out the other morning.

No barking - unusual as he always barks. He's good that way.

OH called his name - no reaction. Looked around corner into lounge and pooch was lying on the footstool next to radiator.

Called his name a second time - nothing.

He went over to dog and nudged him gently, afraid that he'd died.

He has no idea whose reaction was the funniest as both OH and pooch jumped a mile in the air.

Oh to have been a fly on the wall in that instant. :-D

It's a wonder I didn't get told off for laughing. :-D

Gotta go for a while folks. Gran duties. :-D

She'd choke on the treats and get fatter....she's finally stopped just as my daughter who's dog it is gets home....typical
