Barb, mine was similar. 2% was Belgium and Channel Islands and the rest a mix of English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish with the Isle of Man mentioned (I knew about it) and a lot of south Lancashire and north Cheshire which I also knew about. I also knew we had ancestors in East Anglia that Dad said had come across from the Belgium area ... but the Channel Islands was a new one I knew zilch about. |
