Lovely walk with Priya this morning but she wanted to get home quickly for her breakfast - she must have been hungry , now there's a surprise a labrador cross who's hungry ;-)

Pat, the fires are bad and the situation is not being helped by our Politicians, many of whom seem intent on scoring obscene points by linking them to climate change.

That well be the case, but in the here and now people are losing their properties, and in some cases, tragically, their lives, and are in need of support and not political point scoring.

The last few days in my locality have seen heavy haze due to burning off, but that is far more preferable than the alternative :-(

They cut down all vegetation around villages and towns out here before the end of June to try to limit the problem here but we still get fires.

We have an area of natural beauty which is supposed to be left to nature but several fires have recently happened, thought to be by people who want to build on the area. They have been told it won't work as it won't alter the classification.

Pat I bet she now has a full tummy and laying in the sunshine :-D :-D :-D
