The wood chipper was completely submerged. Fingers crossed that I can dry it out and get it going.

Saw flooding in Evesham and barriers up in Stratford upon Avon on the news earlier,
don't envy you the flooding Bob, glad that it's not got in the house though!

Thanks for all your kind thoughts. We are in Wellesbourne, about five miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, and the river is the Dene,(which flows in to the Avon) We have good defences on the bungalow, covers on the airbricks and a substantial metal cover for the door. We would need a lot more rain to cause damage to the house fortunately. My new and expensive wood shredder is in the shed, and until I can get to the shed I don't know what damage has been done. I may have to strip it down and use a lot of WD40 on it. The river has subsided a lot, and the garden is now just a huge puddle. If I knew how to photos on here I could post some. At least better weather is forcast.
