Felt like I'd already done a shift when I turned up for coffee this morning. I'd dropped the young un at school - bumper to bumper all the way, a ten-minute journey that took about 30 minutes. (Pleased I'm retired - forgot what morning traffic was like.) Popped in to give the pooch a comfort break as Dtr is in London for three days, went to get stamps and have a couple of parcels weighed but system was down. Popped along to drop script into chemist then doubled back and finally got stamps etc. All before 9.15 am and me having left behind an organised life!

Girls, I was so pooped that I treated myself to a hefty gingerbread latte at N*xt C*sta and it was lush.

I hope I've put the right cards in the right envelopes as I've already had a phone call from sis-in-law this week thanking me for the two birthday cards I'd sent her. :-S
