I know how great it was not to have to go and get coal in all weathers. We only had two open coal fires when we moved in here. They put gas central heating in after about 5 years.

Now they've taken the gas fires with back boilers out of all the houses and installed a baxi boiler in the airing cupboard. They put an electric fan fire with pretend coal in instead of the gas fires but we were warned not to put it on as it would cost the earth :-0 :-D :-D

We have no gas in the village Jem or i would have had that :-)

We didn't have gas in the village I grew up in either.

She's in a little chair that can convert to a high chair when she's older. I bought one for my house and one for G's :-)

I had a text this afternoon saying that they were on the ship and it was lovely :-D

Glad they are enjoying it :-D

She is so contented and happy. She hardly ever cries. She gives huge smiles and kisses. She's her Mammy's girl but she loves Granny (me) too! :-D

Ashton was more a man's child. Wants Daddy and Daddad (Granddad) :-D
