Got to say was down the Park this morning...went in you know where for a coffee and scone, was sitting there reading me paper with a gobfull of scone,when this woman toddles over...do you mind if Isit with you...Twas a bit busy and only a small cafe.

We said a few words ...then I said to her isn’t this a wonderful photo of oneof theoldnBomber Boys in front of the new memorial which they unveiled in Lincoln.

Iwas there yesterday at the service she said...special invite...her late father was in Bomber Command during the war...what a story she had to tell...how he was shot down over France...and hidden by the French people :-(
