mornin' sweetpea and the rest of the gang from a very snowy South Wales. Started snowing yet again - about two feet deep now. I've experienced worse

Daughter in law is a nurse - she had parked her car on the main road yesterday in the hope of using it this morning but decided against it when she saw the state of the roads. Her employers sent a 4 x 4 for her but that crashed, so her eldest son came and picked her up in his 4 x4 - picking up random nurses on the way and delivering them to their places of work. She'll probably not come home tonight!

Been out for coffee with friends and now waiting for the young un cos school's off again today. He's having a good run and is delighted. <3 :-D

The night following dtr being stuck on the A66 a young couple had their baby in their car stuck on the A66 on the way to hospital ... and a bouncing baby, too - over 10 lbs (in old money!). <3 :-D

Umpteen years ago a friend waited a little too late and gave birth in the hospital car park. A bit better than the A66. :-0 :-D

Bet it was scary for the woman on the A66 at least the woman in the car park was near to professional help :-)

Sienna Louisa Dottie Waring, 10 lbs 1 oz, born, with Dad helping, in a snow storm, stuck at the side of the A66. She was their third child. Apparently the air ambulance had to be called as the car couldn't be found by land crew.

How is Ralphie enjoying the snow Belle? :-D

They could call the baby Storm or even Emma :-D :-D :-D

He enjoys it but in short spurts...after a time he finds it too cold too :-0. He hasn't had walkies for the last few days as it's a bit too dangerous under foot :-(. He keeps looking at me with those big brown eyes :-(. Hopefully, we'll be able to get back to walkies tomorrow so he is having to make do we games of ball in the garden :-D

A diplomatic decision - I decided to slumber indoors till the snow melts or the doubtful food supply is devoured.

What a load of 'trashy/mind-numbing' programmes appear on TV during the day - IMHO.
