Done my baking this week. When I made a potato salad I also made three apple pies with apples from dtr's tree - so one for them, a gluten-free one for OH and one for me.

I ain't got any left so when I do doggy duty I may have to pick more apples and as I bought some cream this morning I shall stew some too. :-D

Joy my neighbour gave me some apples from their tree so I'm making a strudel with a caramel sauce ;-)
Flapjacks baking as we speak and I made 3 lemon drizzle cakes in the week. Two of those are in the freezer for later ;-)

JL - Just returned from shopping but must go out again. I was in Durham the other week and I had a Chinese Buffet and it was lovely. I called in at the Ding Dong Vantage Antique shop and the manner of the women who owns the shop was absolutely disgusting. Needless to say I will not venture near this shop in the future. Apart from that I had a lovely day in your city.

Only 27 C today getting cool at night, had to wear a jacket last night and OH got cold knees and decided no more shorts in the evening back to longs.

Mersey his back is quite badly damaged both discs and muscles, you need to know what you're doing. Need to be a physio to do it.

I'll pour him some wine and he'll put either the radio or TV on and get into his recliner chair and very likely go to sleep as he had a painful night and couldn't get comfortable.

He doesn't have anything to do over the weekend so he'll get better then. :-)
