It's still scorching here, have even cut the front grass which I usually leave to OH, wish I had now cos a big metal thing has fallen off the mover from the underside, on the plus side it seems easier to push now :-D :-D :-D

Grandson is with us this afternoon, so I'm outnumbered - football is on MY telly! :-| :-| :-( :-( ;-) ;-)

well I am back and had a really good time at the Junior school :-D :-D lots of lovely things to eat and the whole school was in the hall. Tables were all laid beautifully, flags and balloons everywhere and a golden throne in the front. One of our ladies dressed up as the Queen and the little ones loved her. They went up to her, staring in awe of her LOL. and we all sang The National Anthem !!!!!!

It is now thunder, lightening and chucking it down so I won't be getting the mower out this afternoon :-0 :-0

actually I am limp after all the celebrations of the last two days.

It's bumper to bumper in our little city. It was mizzling on so I drove and found a parking spot away from the Market Place - normally takes five or ten minutes depending on time of day. This afternoon it took me more than 30 minutes. Lots of road closures and scarcity of parking places because the Dash is on.

The young un was late coming back from the school trip and was starving and tired so I have no idea how he's going to run but he was picked to do it so he'll do it.

He is with Oz (dtr) and her hubby so I've come home for a bit of peace. :-D

CAN ANYONE WITH ACCESS TO USA RECORDS PLEASE DO ME A FAVOUR?

I have seen on K's Ancestry site that my grandfather's sister's death occurred in Wayne, Michigan, USA in 1940. Her married name was Esther Jane Wade (nee Linge).

The record is showing on Ancestry but neither of us has worldwide.

Would anyone be able to download it and send me a copy, please?
