Another near goal for Spain... but never materialized

Still Croatia 1 -1 Spain..... and 68 minutes...

Yellow card for Croatie number 11 for falling on Spain player and bringing him down.

A Missed penalty kick by Spain number 15..... the ball hit the goalkeeper.

Spain should have been a goal up there says hubby.

Still 1-1 at 72 mins of play.

A foul by Spain number 20 on Croatia number 11

A penalty kick by Croatia number 7 but its saved by the goal keeper.

Lots of running about by both teams and plenty of excitement for all the fans.

OOO Spain just missed an opportunity to head the ball into the net.

him a yellow card....... and after he got the goal too.

Grandson 1 News:
I have just got in and had the salad I had been preparing for dinner when G.D-In-Law phoned.

I have to say, I expected the worse. I thought he might have been unconscious or had a broken neck!
When I arrived they had taken him through and he was sitting up, bright and obviously not concussed, so I was relieved.

BUT, he has horrendous cuts all over his hands which had to be all opened up to get the entire surface of the road out of them. Very bruised and swollen. An X Ray revealed a cracked wrist, so he has had to have a plaster cast over the top of his dressing.

He has a very cut knee, and road burns. A badly bruised hip and leg.
He has to go back Friday morning to the fracture clinic for a review.

SKATEBOARDING! :-|
He's only recently taken it up again after badly breaking his collar bone on his friend's skateboard 2 years ago. He has since fallen off 3 times! :-( :-(
He has now realised that he cannot keep doing this, especially now he's a father!
