Just put shopping away. We had frosty roads at 9 am when I went out but all gone now. Bright and sunny but cold with rain, I think, by mid-afternoon. :-(

GP, listen up!!! Sea Salt has opened a store in Morpeth and I know that Sea Salt sell a lovely wipeable apron emblazoned with the picture and words, 'fish,chips and mushy peas'. Whether it's in the Morpeth store or not, you can order online. A lovely present for you methinks. :-D :-D :-D

About fifteen years ago, I was given a book (no Kindles in those days) as a birthday present & today I’ve just started to read it. Look at the youthful lack of my reverence & enthusiasm for such gifts.

I know you’re deadly keen to discover the title of the hard-back publication, released early in the current millennium by BBC Worldwide Ltd - “Is it me?” - an autobiography written by the now late Terry Wogan.

The first few paragraphs would have me believe that somehow I am listening to the author himself wittering along in his much loved BBC radio show. Long may the memory of Terry’s ‘wittering’ remain!

We have the young un(younger grandson) and the old un (our oldest grandchild - granddaughter) for tea so I bought the M & S £10 meal Italian meal deal for three of us with extra salad stuff and con carne for K.
