This is just a quick visit to let you know that I am doing OK :-) so not stopping :-) as I am still not 100% recovered from the TIA I had a couple of weeks ago, getting there slowly, and although I've regained the full use of my left hand and arm, I am still having problems with the vision in my left eye, but that is improving day by day :- and tomorrow weather permitting :-) I might venture out as I have not been over my door step for about two weeks :-)

So wherever you are and whatever you are going to be doing :-) be vigilant :-) take care :-) stay safe :-) keep warm :-) smile and make the most of your day :-)

Hi again, car went for a service today and they said i had 2 nails in one tyre so a new tyre.

Went to Kwik Fit , brilliant as always they were, there and back in half an hour with new tyre fitted. :-D :-D :-D

My OH always looked after our cars so I have to do it now and am finding it a little worrying that my car is ** fit and healthy ** I don't know anything about cars and the thought of putting air in the tyres is a nightmare. My last service was fine though and might just take it back there for them to give it a once over :-D

Barb, mine is a motobility car so i don't have to pay for the tyres but like you i can't put air in so i always ask the men at the carwash to check my tyres for me and they always do and never charge me.

I used to service my cars myself when i was younger but now i have so much metalwork in my hands i can't even lift the bonnet or put the air in.

on my cars in earlier years I would open the bonnet and knew what everything was. Now I open the bonnet and its all :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

Oh poor you, is it arthritis you have ? but you're brilliant to be so self sufficient :-D

yes , used to get the wheels off, waxoil the arches, wheels back on , clean the plugs check battery leads , everything in those days lol...

No wonder my hands gave up in the end lol..yes arthritis .

I had to toss my own pancakes or I couldn't eat them !!!!! lovely time with all the kids and they had to flip theirs too. a lovely few hours :-D :-D :-D
