I have just found out what the difference between a Gammon and Ham joint is. Gammon you have to cook and Ham is already cooked. :-S :-S :-S

I've tried that Foresight pease pudding - it's OK, but lacks seasoning. I stir in a bit of concentrated bacon stock, then it's fine. :-D

Ham (gammon to you GP) has been parboiled and is now in the oven with marmalade, brown sugar and brandy glaze and studded with cloves. Just about to do the vegie the Nigella way which makes life easy.

Pavlova is standing waiting for cream and cherries in kirsch.

All things considered, I may be considerably heavier tomorrow unless I dance my socks off. :-D
