It is with a heavy heart that I have to forward this message.

Dizzi passed away this evening in Sussex at the caravan she escaped reality too.
Thoughts are with her family.

Update.
The coroner has been in touch with the family today, 1st June.

Sadly Dizzi had a heart attack.
There was no indication that Dizzi would have known or have been in any pain when it happened.


The family has decided either flowers or donations to PARKINSON'S UK.

Any donations can be made via http://www.lodgebros.co.uk/ under the name Gwendoline Martin.

The funeral is to be held at 12 Noon on Friday the 19th June 2015

The family have said anyone who knew 'Our Dizz', would like to and is able to come is very welcome.

After the service be will a repast Meadhurt Club, Chertsey Road, Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex, TW16 7LN, where we will also have a Book of Condolences. If anyone is not able to come but would like to add some comments they can always be sent by email and we will print them of.

My thoughts are with the family.

Oh no. That's such a shame. She was such a lovely lady.

I will miss her gentle humour, which shone through even when the days were tough.

She has been in and out of hospital from time to time but I was not expecting this.
I shall miss your zany ways Gwen.. having to replace your keyboard after you spilt cinnamon and honey on it.

I will miss your little drawings, and for the fact that like me you have a penchant for owls.

This is so crazy, I just can't believe it.

On the 20th she posted Henry Scot Holland's poem

I had to read this post twice thinking to myself Dizzi only posted the other day saying about her outing on her scooter. How sad when she was enjoying having her independace.

I can barely believe this, I was only thinking about our Gwen earlier yesterday. I thought there was a little light at the end of the tunnel for our friend as she had got the mobility scooter so could get out more easily and was looking forward to tales of her travels.

My sympathy to her family, I don't think they appreciated what a wonderful, brave person Gwen was. Her grandchildren will miss her but will have so many memories of all she did with them and for them. She had so many creative talents.

Rest in peace, love, you have been so brave and strong, cheerful and determined to
live life as best you could despite the cruel blow you were dealt.

We won't forget you, Gwen, you will be with a great bunch from gr, sadly growing larger by the week.
