Herself said that I should get rid of my drumset as I never used them. I suggested that in that case, the Hoover coud go too! Exshully, I gave most of the set to the local school but kept the valuable cymbals - 2 of which I got good money for.

On a serious note :-) Joy, if you are contemplating giving Nigel Kennedy a run for his money, I would advise holding one (in the correct position of course) and see how you get on :-S. I had a go when I was at school and boy did I find it uncomfortable. It really takes a toll on your neck...and if you don't have problems to start with.... I will say no more ;-) :-D

Mersey ... No, I didn't mean 'plastic spoons' lol. What I meant was that you were bound to have 'solid silver' rather than stainless steel etc :-)

Talking of silver spoons I found 3 stamped silver serving spoons when I was clearing out my mums place, I remember my mum telling me they were her mums my Nana who went in to service when she was 12 yrs and when she was asked to leave my Nana claimed they were given to her as present by whom it is unclear, however over 100 yrs on through all kinds of proverty I am still amazed they are still with the family ;-)
