AnnCardiff I just noticed that you tried to pull me up on my grammar (cannot imagine why I did not notice your comment before). |

Cardi or not Errol I won't be paying £3 for a coffee lol. Not to be drinking it in the town centre anyway ...maybe somewhere beautiful and interesting, then I might 'just' be able to swallow the price along with the coffee. |

The Clancy Brothers were an influential Irish folk group known for wearing white Aran jumpers/sweaters. |

That is an excellent way to highlight the dangers of sites such as faceache. |

Linked to internet safety, but not particularly relevant to internet censorship. Interesting all the same. |

As a young man I had a serious fracture of my left arm playing rugby. As a left handed person this was a tad inconvenient. Not being one to allow the minor inconvenience of an arm in plaster to put a brake on things I carried on with life including cycling. Inevitably I suppose this ended up with a crash into a tree and the spare arm broken too. |

Let's hope then that Errol does not put anything from the House of Apple into the mix. They can be serious and always push to the front in Starbucks before displaying their iPad for a long pseudo cardigan conversation with the barrista. Everyone else waits and fumes. |

I was accused of saying something intelligent yesterday and all around began to wonder if there might be some hope for me after all. |

are we talking pomposity or grammar here? threads very often go off topic, as does every day conversation - it's what happens |
