what a shock - so sad

RIP BC - you will be greatly missed on these boards, but like Daff, Sandie and Jean et al, you will not be forgotten <3 <3 <3 <3

Oh nooooooo.

I had no idea she was ill.

I am so sad I can't think of anything to say right now.

I would like to pay tribute to a lovely lady
who I was proud to call our friend
she welcomed us into her heart and her home
and cooked the best lamb dinners ever
she had charm and charisma and a sense of humour next to none
BC you may be gone but will never be forgotten by so many
loved so much by all the Boros and rightly so

When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in gloom-filled rooms,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little--but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low;
Remember the love that we once shared

i am so sad to hear this news .

I knew she had been battling illness but the last time we spoke at a London Meet she was very upbeat about the things she had been through and what more treatment she had to have

She was her usual lovely self in all ways .very chatty and very bubbly as she always was.

I never had the pleasure of meeting our special BC, but admired her cheery wit and kind ways on these boards.

So sad and so shocked to read this. BC was one of my first GR friends and we had such laughs together right back in the early days.

I knew she was ill but hoped for the best. I am very upset to hear of her passing. If anyone knows the arrangements I'd be grateful for a pm.

Oh my goodness what a shock :-0.This has brought me to tears.She was a lovely lady .I met her at the Peterborough Meet when Daff was with us there.Her sense of humour was just wonderful and she was so elegant too.
Then when there were riots in London a couple of years or so back and I was worried about how my daughter was going to travel home from work in Brixton BC kindly contacted me to say there was a bed at hers if my daughter needed it.How kind was that.
This is such sad news :-( :-(....RIP BC. <3 <3
