Ooooops I am a dimwit aren't I.. :-D :-D

Scouse is different in the area's of Liverpool but Mum does it slightly different

Its a bit like beef stew Auntie Barb, but goes very thick, and she does a crust on it, everyone is different on how they make it, and because Mum is from Manchester and Dad is Liverpool through and through she has her own twist on it andshe grates the veggies in it, because we wouldn't eat them as kids lol, and she still does it that way!!!......we all loves it and she makes all a bowl each for each of us including her granchildren mmmmm mmmmmm <3 <3 <3

Sounds really good. Is that a pastry topping or a sort of doughboy one and done in the oven or in a saucepan. I am interested honest.

Its pastry Auntie Barb....we never liked puff pastry as kids so Mum has always done Shortcrust ...very thick though.....there is lots of recipes of it online but as I say everyone is different....Just up the road from me is St Helens and they call is Lobby :-D :-D :-D
