I couldn't make my mind up about Joey but I have read today that his mum committed suicide when he was a child and he could have missed out on some parent child teaching. (I don't think mum taught me how to blow my nose she just clipped my ear and said blow don't sniff)
According to the press Joey left school with 2 GCSE's and neither in one of the prime subjects.
As far as being thick? Well he has the girls flocking around him, he owns a club and has launched his own hair care range - so thick? I think not, but funny yes

Just watched last nights, I do wish they would give equal air time to all of them, not just Amy and Joey. I did find it strange that only 10 people went in the jumgle, so here is the script Joey and Amy flirt for a few days whilst the producers pray they get it on and enter 2 newbies 1 of them has to be that bird he was engaged too, cant think of her name. :-\

I think one is Vincent from Strictly Come Dancing and I dont even know the other one Annabel Giles....never heard of her!! :-|

Joey does not own a Club he is a promoter for the Sugar Hut...which used to be the White Hart when I lived there.

Think he owns a shop in Brentwood and possibly lives there...I know Steve Davis lives in Brentwood or did twenty years ago

Starting to change my opinion of Joey. Certainly up for the challenges.

I was expecting to hate Joey, but I think he's a sweet natured (if slightly thick) boy who is unsure of himself, and cares about other people.

I think he really wants to do his best for the camp. When he kept saying-"I did good" after he got 7 stars, he was really asking for their reassurance that he had done good!

Joey Essex is a smart lad, he already has ' Joey of the Jungle' tee shirts on sale in his shop ! :-D

Amy is game isnt she, fair doo to the lass she certainly didnt have a drama tantrum she just got on with it.

Matthew Wright is so very wrong on so many levels, but he planned his air time and certainly got it , I think we all sussed after the tears on the first show he has a game plan.

I certainly think Vincent will mix it up a little in there, or I am hoping so. :-D
