Thanks Mary that helps a bit as the sun has now come out here, so I am off to enjoy it.

Pity it wasn't the end of the month there's a family history being held in Sheffield on Saturday 31st May that would have been an ideal place to meet.

Uzzi, so sorry but won't be able to make it in Saturday after all. Daughter went into hospital last Thursday and is still in, she suffers from Crohn's Disease and has been quite poorly with it. Doctor she is under has told her that she might have to operate.....she's not too keen on that.

Really sorry as I was looking forward to meeting you and the others. Maybe, if you have another meet sometime I will be able to make it.

Hope that you will all enjoy yourselves and have a great time.

I am so cross!

Yesterday I managed to persuade o.h. to drive us to Sheffield on Friday afternoon when he finished work so we could surprise you, well I would have, he would have scared you lol!

I booked us in to the Sheffield Metropolitan, as you lot have all the rooms at the Ibis, it was within walking distance of Ibis so not a problem, and looked a nice hotel with good reviews.

Started getting my things together earlier, and him upstairs (who will be getting up for work in a bit) came plodding down the stairs and said he had remembered he had signed up for overtime on Saturday to help with a specific job at his workplace that has to be done this weekend!

Grrrrr! I just had to cancel our booking.

I was so looking forward to meeting up with you, Uzzi and Wend, and seeing other people I know already, as well as having a break from Norwich.

Oh well, will have to have a good natter with you later, Uzzi and catch up with you too Wend when he is at work next week.

Have a great time, and keep some throat lozenges handy for when you have talked yourselves hoarse.
