Didn't you like school, Fly?

No didn't like it much but always went don't remember

Fly - sorry for adding years to your age, I might have realised! Couldn't remember when the leaving age was raised to 16! :-0 ;-)

I went to a Secondary Modern school, mainly because I took one look at the awful old fashioned grammar school when I went to sit the 11 plus, compared it to the lovely new school up the road, and deliberately flunked it! :-D :-D :-D

Luckily, the school had a GCE stream. See, I was naughty even then!

it is now an Acadamy and a good school :-D

Mine is now a set of offices! My year was the only one that ever had GCE success, and ceased to be a school about 15 years after I left! :-D :-D :-D
