I have NOT received an email from GR explaining WHY it was removed.

GR knew it was here....... the OP was reported and reinstated several times.

Who would like it back??

I am NOT stirring the pot............ I just don't understand why a thread that was OK for weeks has suddenly been removed. There are threads here I don't read, because they may offend me, but I leave them alone.

I think it should be reinstated - a bit of light hearted humour not intended to offend anyone and after all there were clear warnings that some jokes might be a bit risque ;-)

It should definitely be reinstated! We are all consenting adults! ;-)

The Opening Post was reported several times, and reinstated.

There was a fair warning on the opening post that the thread was for ADULTS only, and the stories may be risque.

Because GR reinstated the OP, I thought there was no problem.

If there was a post that was considered unsuitable and reported and removed, that is acceptable.

The whole thread has been removed, with NO WARNING. That is (in my opinion) unacceptable.

I would appreciate an explanation.... and so would many others.

Just noticed that the thread had disappeared.

As a reader and a contributor I am dismayed. There are far worse atrocities in the world than a risque joke appearing on what is supposed to be a website whose membership is open to adults only. Added to which the thread's opening post clearly stated what content the thread was likely to contain which gave fair warning to anyone who was likely to be offended by such humour not to proceed to read the thread.

I believe that the thread should be reinstated.

Scozz, have you emailed GR? Threads have mysteriously disappeared before without GR knowing and Phil Moir has tracked them down.

On the other hand, although the GR team had let the thread stay it might have come to the notice of their bosses who might then have told them to delete it.

Just guessing. Ask 'em :-D

I'm more of a one liner fan than long jokes meself but, as an adult (yes, that may come as a surprise to some lol) I say 'put Scozz's joke thread back' long may it be added to. :-D

I have a fantastic poem which I was going to post..very long but by a humorous poet named Les Barker whose work I have recently come across :-)

I only read it occasionally but at the very least you should be given a reason. If you are not you could easily assume it has disappeared in error like so many have in the past, you could then restart it.

I say yes it should be reinstated this is the 21st century not the 19th.

There are some miserable old 'bats' on this site who enjoy causing trouble. Its them that should be put down not the thread. I was got at once. Had I ID'd them I would have considered legal action as they classed me as Racist
