Hello, Miss Mayhem calling from Canada at 8.20 in the evening, but I see you are all in bed, you lazy lot!
Have spent the last two days on the Rocky Mountain train - not a bear or moose in sight, but boy, did we get well looked after!
Just relaxing in the hotel tonight - thank goodness for duty free Pernod - squiffettes are pretty expensive here!
Mersey, saw some mounties when we got of the train yesterday (though not in full ceremonial dress), but couldn't persuade one to leave his wife for you, and he didn't have a stick of rock in his hand! Awfy sorry!

have to tackle a huge pile of ironing this morning for our forthcoming holiday, I really don't mind household chores but HATE ironing, I keep allowing myself to get side tracked.

We are going with my son and family for this evening for a dinner at the greyhound races son owns two racing greyhounds , and half shares in two thoroughbred horses, to be honest racing is not my thing, but is always good to have my family together.

I am just off to start a huge pile of ironing..........
