Good choice of word for today.

It has been absolutely pouring down througout the night and the street is partially flooded. The sun is coming out now and we are expecting lots of sunshine with occasional showers during the day. Hope the weather improves for you both and you can venture out.
Will be shopping in Newcastle city centre later on so I will catch you later.
