Morning, Ann and girls! :-D :-D <3 <3

Thanks for putting up this mornings thread - not in much of a mood to be jolly!

Things will be OK, I think! Grandson was caught speeding for the second time in a fortnight last night (only passed his test in June), and looked as though he'd lose his license. Luckily for him, the police have let him off with a caution, on the proviso that he undergoes a speed awareness course. We were needed to give the young man a stern talking to! I gave him my old car, he really needs one for work, and he's been told that this is his last chance, or I'm taking it back!
Kids! you give them every chance, but do they take it?

Apart from that, things are pretty normal.

:-) ;-)

Good morning Ann G and fly...hope all is well <3

GN....How weird....I was thinking along them lines. He is very lucky indeed not to have got the book thrown at him.

I think the biggest worry now is the family worrying every time he gets into his car...been there done that!

Ann - I only hope he's learned his lesson, the police will have well and truly marked his card! Mind you, I find it difficult to keep to 30mph when things are quiet!

Morning, AnninGlos and littlelegs, hope you all have a good day! :-D :-D <3 <3

Just popping in to say hello, and hope you are all having a good day. We went to see my sister and BIL yesterday, and both of us said he looked as though he has lost some weight, but apart from that he was his normal happy/funny/grumpy self, and discussed the forthcoming operation (in great detail) My sister and BIL have a pub, its very busy and I think that is helping to keep his mind occupied. I brought him some new PJS and although he does not normally wear any ;-) he loved them.

I am trying so hard to stay positive.

It's good to see the flag is still flying for Mersey <3

Everything back to normal after visits from
family. House smells like a flower shop and
OH and myself happily exhausted singing and playing
with great grandies. The joy sharing happy special days
with the family are wonderful. :-D :-D

Hello, Paula - glad to hear that things are staying positive. :-)

Emma - it sounds like you've had a lovely family day! I can just imagine you all in your wee "but and ben"! :-D :-D

Good morning Paula...hope all goes well with your BIL <3

GN.....I think if we are honest most of us have done the same thing. The problem is with young and new drivers the insurance hammers you. My son a few years ago did the same thing and had points on his license.....he was unaware he had to inform his insurance till he came to renew and they upped the premium!

I have just been to fill up the car for Birmingham tomorrow and whilst out it poured down on my washing!!!!! :-(

Ann - it never rains but it pours! :-D - in more ways than one.................

Engineer has just arrived to look at our new hob which seems to have developed a fault. Which is the one guarantee we can't find?.................. :-|

Think we may have been a bit remiss, there, Ann. It's just the thermostat, though - can be fixed! :-D
