The Glen was up on Bristol Downs near the Suspension Bridge. Oh me oh my, big sigh

It is now a very posh private hospital

All fun and innocent stuff. Bopping all night till it was time to run for the last bus.I wasn't quite old enough to go to the club side as that was where the bars were and we had to be 18. The doorman wouldn't let us in ha ha

Barbs - Loved the 50's and 60's. Visited most dance halls where I lived and really enjoyed myself. A great era.

Me and me mates were terrors! We used to hitch lifts back home in the early hours - if our parents knew, they would have gone mad! Looking back, we took, we took terrible risks, but we never came to any harm! :-D
