It was Renes and I stopped posting on there because FB changed the format and I didnt like it but up till then I really like it on there I didnt have a clue most of the time whom I was speaking with could of been someone I didnt get a long with on here, but I did behave, once I said something which I didnt know was offencive and I was mortified but when people realised I didnt understand fully what I said they were cool. Some really nice folks we used to discuss WDYTYA and I used to talk to a lady I think she was called Sally used to love our chats. :-D

lololol I dont know about the pineapples I just thought she was very sweet and lovely as i say I didnt know who was who if they were polite with me I was so in returned.

I did get my tree back it was sent to me via Gedcom and I did get my orginal account back as well its the one I used to this day, when I was allowed to return to GR the only thing I lost was the cost and my 12 mths renewal thing now I have to pay the full price for 6 mths. :-D

If I did converse with you Renes on FBGR I hope I was nice and polite ...I think I was anyway :-D The one think I liked about it was you could talk to the admin staff

Gai the other day .........

And we were all polite to each other over there ...... and most of us upset about the loss of your tree ........ I do remember that they GEDCOM you a copy ..... but only after a lot of badgering ..opps polite requests ........

As you say .. we were not sure who was who ---as we all posted in our real names on FB them .............. happy days ...

I remember Gai. as I remember we didnt really talk about the site as such we all got on with our things. I think I took the FBGR thing more serious that I ever took the site. Someone did complain about me posting on there as I was banned from here at the time. But I didnt row with anyone over there. :-D

There was only one as far as I know she didn't have a profile pic at the time.

She was always telling people to ask for help on the ancestry page rather than come on here ...not that she used this site just didn't like the helpers...she blocked a few of us a couple of times, then unblocked us???

Those were the days when I would stick up for GR but they have not done me any favours in the last year or so......so couldn't care less now

As I said the most things I remember discussing was WDYTYA, it was the USA series and involved slavery ( am I allowed to say that) it was Janey who told me watch Kim Cattrill who is a British born Candian Janey told me to watch it and said " you'll love it" and she was on the money as I watched it on Youtube and loved it, I love the way Kim the big USA film/TV star just walked about the streets of Liverpool council estate knocking on her long lost reallies doors. It was a very interesting sad story.
